As of today, face masks are mandatory in most indoor spaces in nearly all of the regions served by The AIDS Network. It is more important than ever that we make sure everyone has access to face masks, both as a matter of public health and as a matter of accessibility.
We are so grateful to Q Design Centre for its ongoing support of our Mask Drive – Q Design Centre has donated an additional 400 non-medical face masks for us to distribute through our mobile harm reduction programs. Between their two generous donations they have contributed 900 masks to our drive, representing a value of over $10,000. Thank you Q Design Centre for your extremely generous support and for helping us to make sure our communities most vulnerable can have access to masks!
We are very close to our extended goal of 2000 masks to distribute through Hamilton, Haldimand, Norfolk, Brant County and Brantford- we are still accepting donations of non medical face masks so if you are able to donate to our cause please get in touch with James Diemert, Community Engagement Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a pickup or drop-off!
