Comfort & Joy Artist Spotlight – Abominable Ink by Julie Fazooli

November 22, 2019

Today’s artist spotlight is another pillar of the local arts scene in Hamilton,  Abominable Ink by Julie Fazooli! Julie is a local artist with over ten years of experience, an extremely sought-out freelance graphic designer, and is the brains behind events like the Punk Rock Flea Market. She’s also a fabulous local DJ in-case you were worried she had too much spare time on her hands! In her own words:

“Born in Paris, France, and hailing from a lengthy and quite varied background in both the graphic design and entertainment industry – focusing on art, graphic design, photography, DJing, television and film production – I am continually inspired by graphic design, typography, surrealism, pop art, tattoo design, street art, comedy, cultural styles, and elements of the world that surrounds us. I like to remix popular elements and flip them on themselves to create something humorous and delightful”

Julie has generously donated a number of prints from her incredibly delightful Dapper Dogs & Couture Kittens collection of original artwork, and we are thrilled to have this local art celebrity’s support of our event! Be sure to give her a follow on:
