Today’s artist spotlight goes out to Anthony Haley, another fantastic artist hailing from Hamilton, and a fixture in the local arts scene!

Anthony Haley is a surrealist artist from Hamilton, Ontario. Anthony’s work blends styles of traditional painting, illustration and photo-collage with contemporary street art styles and textures.

He’s a graduate of both OCAD University and MTM School of Animation and Design.

Anthony’s work has been featured in the Power Plant Gallery Toronto, Northern Contemporary Gallery Toronto, Hamilton Artist Inc. James Gallery, HAVN and other local establishments surrounding the Hamilton/Toronto area. He was also the recipient of the Hamilton Readers Choice Gold Award for local Artist and since has been consistently nominated for the award. For years now he has also been an active Art Battle All Star, being Hamilton’s first champion in 2016, and winning in Oakville, Burlington and Toronto.

Join us on December 6th, 6:00pm-10:00pm at the Art Gallery of Hamilton for Comfort & Joy, a charity silent art auction in support of The AIDS Network. This fabulous fundraiser featuring amazing drag and musical talent and an incredible silent auction featuring a variety of one of a kind gifts from talented local artists and makers will help us to continue to provide some of our most valued programs and services.
