This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day. In Ontario alone, over 3,250 women are living with HIV and 73% are caring for children. (OHESI’s Women & HIV: Fact Sheet, 2017) This week, we stand with women living with HIV as valued members, caregivers, mothers, leaders, and fierce community advocates who are dedicated to creating more caring families and communities and whose efforts continue to support others during COVID-19.
