I walk because at TD we take Pride in supporting our community

September 1, 2020

Team TD is participating in The AIDS Network’s Walk Away From Stigma, we walk because at TD we take Pride in supporting our community.

Since 2005, TD has been a loud and proud supporter of LGBTA communities and we take pride in our reputation for supporting these communities in our staff, our communities and our customers. Today, gay and bisexual men still bear a disproportionate burden of the HIV epidemic in Ontario, representing more than half of all new cases. Homophobia and stigma continue to affect these populations health outcomes, and increase vulnerability. TD is proud to be supporting The AIDS Network as an organization that helps to address this need by reinforcing self-esteem and personal empowerment through sexual health education and resources, and through the delivery of tailored and targeted health promotion.

The AIDS Network relies on the support of friends and allies in the communities that they serve to deliver some of their most crucial programs and services. Show your support today, and help Team TD support their mission to respond to the impact of HIV in Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant
