Notice: Membership Updates
Due to the evolving Covid 19 pandemic, the Provincial Government provided an emergency order to provide flexibility for corporate meetings, extending the timeframe by which corporations under the Corporations Act and Business Corporations Act must hold Annual General Meetings, or allowing them to be conducted electronically.
Our next Annual General Meeting is scheduled for November 23rd at 6:30pm. The meeting will be taking place electronically via videoconference technology. In order to vote at the AGM, members must be in good standing and have submitted their membership application and fee no later than 5:00pm on Friday, October 23rd.
We are committed to doing our best to reduce barriers to member participation in this meeting and recognize that not everyone has access to the technology needed to participate in video-conference meetings. If you are a member of The AIDS Network and are unable to attend the AGM virtually, please contact James Diemert, Community Engagement Coordinator at email@example.com
For 30 years, The AIDS Network has been the primary voice for HIV/AIDS prevention and support for 1.5 million people throughout the regions of Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant. We are the only organization offering HIV/AIDS services and support programs to men, women and families in these communities.
Renew your commitment to the fight for dignity, equality and long healthy lives for people living with, affected by and vulnerable to HIV today. Join The AIDS Networks membership and make a donation. Your donation will help support critical services like the Food & Nutrition Program and will help ensure The AIDS Network continues providing vital programs and services to the community.
Your annual membership includes:
- Agency newsletter
