Notice: Membership Updates

Due to the evolving Covid 19 pandemic , all organizations are facing new challenges and needing to find creative solutions. The AIDS Network membership renewals have historically expired on March 31st, and must be renewed 30 days prior to our Annual General Meeting in order to remain a member in good standing. This year, the Provincial Government provided an emergency order to provide flexibility for corporate meetings, extending the timeframe by which corporations under the Corporations Act and Business Corporations Act must hold Annual General Meetings, or allowing them to be conducted electronically. Our Board of Directors will determine what the best course of action is regarding our AGM, which has been for the past few years held at the end of June. You will be given ample notice to renew your membership in order to ensure you remain in good standing and are able to vote at the meeting.

For 30 years, The AIDS Network has been the primary voice for HIV/AIDS prevention and support for 1.5 million people throughout the regions of Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant. We are the only organization offering HIV/AIDS services and support programs to men, women and families in these communities.

Renew your commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS today by joining the membership and making a donation. Your donation will help support critical services like the Food & Nutrition Program and will help ensure The AIDS Network continues providing vital programs and services to the community.

Your annual membership includes:

  •  Agency newsletter
  • Voting rights for officers at our Annual General Meeting
  • Becoming part of the movement in HIV prevention, education and support

The success of our membership depends on you. Please renew your commitment today and help us continue to build caring, compassionate communities.
