During the course of various projects and activities, The AIDS Network frequently gathers and utilizes personal information. While there are many areas of the website that do not require you to submit personal information, there are areas that will require that you submit information in order to access specific content, features, interactive tools, services, or participate in a particular activity. When you visit or submit information through our website, we want you to be confident that we have taken reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information, and that we are utilizing your personal information exclusively in ways and for purposes you understand and have consented to.

Information voluntarily provided by users that is not personally identifiable such as comments, ideas or suggestions will not be treated as confidential, and The AIDS Network reserves the rights to disclose through any means and use for any purpose such information at its sole discretion, by providing such information to The AIDS Network you agree that no relationship has been created between The AIDS Network and you, and The AIDS Network has no obligation to you whatsoever regarding that information.

Our website uses cookies for user log-ins and sessions, cookies are not used in any areas of our website accessed by site visitors.

Our website utilizes a third party program (Google Analytics) to track certain user information such as the source address that a page request is coming from (i.e. your IP address), date and time of the page request, referring website (if any) and other parameters in the URL (such as search criteria). We utilize this information to better understand which areas of our website users prefer, and how users are finding our website. This information is password protected and encrypted, and is used by The AIDS Network to help optimize our website, and some information (e.g. number of unique users visiting this website over a certain period of time) for reporting purposes to our funders.
